Thank you for your interest in joining the 11,000+ proud members of Community Savings™! There are a couple of things you should know before proceeding. To be a member of the Credit Union, you must be a resident of British Columbia with a current BC address and valid government identification. All new members are required to invest twenty-five dollars ($25.00 CAN) for an initial membership share. These Equity Shares (plus any dividends earned) are refundable should you wish to close your account anytime after six months.

Until the final version of Internet Banking is up and running you will not be able to apply for membership online. Please send us your personal information (including copies of your identification) and mail it (do not fax) or hand deliver it with the required Membership Fee to Community Savings™ Credit Union. Our address is 1170 8th Avenue, New Westminster, BC, V3M 2R6.

Joint Accounts - If you would like to set up a joint account be sure to fill in TWO SEPARATE application forms, one for yourself and one for your spouse - send them together BUT ONLY SEND ONE MEMBERSHIP FEE ($25 CAN). A Personal Banker will contact you to complete the application process once all your information has been received by the credit union.

Please do not mail cash. UPON RECEIPT OF YOU MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION, FUNDS AND VERIFICATION OF YOUR BC RESIDENCY AND IDENTIFICATION, YOU WILL RECEIVE A WELCOME LETTER, MEMBERSHIP NUMBER AND MATERIALS TO GET YOU STARTED.
