Scope

As a full time Loans Interviewer/Member Service Representative, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive branch lending services to members for standard and complex personal loans, mortgages, lines of credit, and small business lending
  • Responsible to process financial and non-financial transactions
  • Provide our members the utmost in customer service, while maintaining an eye for detail, and accuracy
  • This position is for a maternity leave coverage (specific dates to be determined).

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 education plus some post secondary education in business administration OR
  • Granting of consumer credit (such as those courses offered through Credit Union Central BC or CUIC)
  • Minimum of 6-12 months experience as a Loans Clerk
  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years experience as a retail lender
  • Minimum of 12 – 15 months experience as a member service representative with a financial institution
  • Great communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience working in a Credit Union is preferred
