Postal Strike Information

There is the possibility of strike action between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers from September 26 and on. In the event of a postal strike, Community Savings’ monthly statements that are mailed, may be delayed in their delivery.

CSCU members can access their monthly statements through the following ways:

  1. Log into online banking to access e-statements
  2. If you have online banking but receive a printed statement, simply contact your local branch and request a switch from printed statements to e-statements. The switch will happen right away and you will be able to instantly access your online e-statements. In fact, once enrolled in e-statements, your previous monthly statements will also be available for you to access.
  3. If you would like to sign up for online banking, simply go to your local branch to register for this free service.
  4. If the above are not options, visit your local branch and they will print your monthly statement for you.

Member Cards

If you are expecting a new or replacement Member Card, a temporary card can be issued in branch. Please contact your local branch.

Community Savings is proud to be the unions’ credit union. Community Savings supports the Canadian Union of Postal Workers in their efforts to achieve a fair and just settlement.
