NOTICE OF 2027 DIRECTOR ELECTION AND CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The Nominating Committee of Community Savings Credit Union is pleased to advise members that a director election will take place in 2027. Three (3) positions on the Board of Directors will be filled in the election, each for a three (3) year term. The 2027 Annual General Meeting of Community Savings Credit Union will take place on Wednesday, February 3, 2027.

Members interested in standing as candidates, requesting a nomination package, or obtaining more information may contact the Chair of the Nominating Committee by calling (604) 637-5191 or emailing agm@comsavings.com. To qualify, candidates must be at least 19 years old and have been members in good standing of Community Savings for at least 12 months before the date of this notice. Candidates must be available to attend at least 10 meetings per year through Board and Committee participation. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience, financial literacy, high ethical standards, and strong business judgment. Candidates must also meet the eligibility requirements of applicable legislation, the Rules of Community Savings, and any other requirements determined by the Nominating Committee. Nominations and completed packages must be received by no later than Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 5:00pm, by mail or delivery to a Community Savings branch or the Head Office located at 900-7380 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC V3W 5A5.

To vote in the election, a person must be at least 19 years old and a member in good standing 120 days before balloting begins.
